Located in the northeastern part of the country on the border with Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, Botosani County (city of Botosani is the County Residence) gave Romania a number of people who founded the modern state or who promoted Romanian art and culture in the world. George Enescu composer is known for the Romanian Rhapsody and the opera Oedipus, Ștefan Luchian a Romanian painter, famous for his landscapes and still life works, Nicolae Iorga a Romanian historian, politician, literary critic, memoirist, poet, and playwright not least Mihai Eminescu the national poet of Romania and the symbol on the emblem of the RT 20 Botosani club.
RT 20 Botoșani was chartered on 18.11.2016 by RT 10 Bucharest and RT 20 Spittal an der Drau (Austria). The members of the club worked together and got involved in social projects way before the heard about Round Table. In 2016 and 2019 RT 20 was distinguish with the prize „Club of the year” in RT Romania.
Since they were chartered, even though RT 20 is a very young club they are hugely involved and active in social projects in town Botosani and also in the county Botosani. At this moment the club has 13 members and they are working intesely to enlarge the group.
